2009 Youth Essay Contest
The CRC Youth Outreach Committee is proud to announce the winners and finalists of the 2009 Youth Essay
Contest.
We would like to thank all entrants and reviewers for their hard work and participation in this contest.
As we had a wonderful response and received many thoughtful, well written entries, it was very difficult choosing
the top essays in each of the categories listed below:

The top five winning essayists presented their submissions to participants who attended the Campaign's National
Symposium which was convened at the Georgetown University Law School in Washington, DC on June 1-2, 2009. Their essays, along with those of the five finalists, have been incorporated into the following document:
